Google Virtual Tour of County Line Tasting Room

I created a Google Virtual Tour for County Line Tasting Room and it’s live! Featuring the wines of Robert Smasne and Sean Tudor, it’s a gorgeous facility in the Prosser Wine Village. Food on the sheltered patio on a sunny day with a glass of award winning wine doesn’t get much better than this. The Old Vine Cab is always a show stopper. My last stop there I really became enamored of the Mourvedre as well. A nice cold Albarino does it for me amongst the whites. But don’t just take my word for it, check out the tour. Or better yet, visit in person to experience it first hand!

Tri-City Wine Festival 2017

I had a blast at the 39th Annual Tri-Cities Wine Festival at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick last Saturday night! I seized the opportunity to try out my new 3 gimbal stabilizer for video with my cell phone. It worked really well, most of the awkwardness came from operator error. Hopefully I’ll get better as I gain experience using it.

There were over 70 wineries represented, and over 200 wines available for sampling. Below is some video I shot while making the rounds doing some tasting. College Cellars in Walla Walla won double gold and best of show for their 2017 Muscat.

Next year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th.

J. Bookwalter

J. Bookwalter Winery is one of my favorite haunts, especially summer evenings on the patio. They have music on the weekends and superb food. The wines are named after literary conventions – Protagonist, Subplot, Foreshadow… You get the idea. They also contribute to charities promoting literacy. And they have a Google Business View virtual tour. Click below to stroll around inside. So what’s not to like?
